Freelance Native Apps Developer

Freelance Native Mobile Developer (iOS & Android)
Location: Remote (CET ±2)
Start: June 2026
Contract: 3 months

We’re seeking a freelance mobile developer to assist our client to design, build, and evolve high-impact Android and iOS apps used at scale.

Responsibilities & Experience

• Develop and support large-scale native mobile apps across Android and iOS, delivering new features and improvements.
• Build modern UIs using Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI (with UIKit where needed) aligned to a design system.
• Contribute across the full lifecycle – from architecture and coding to testing and app release.
• Integrate AI-driven features and leverage generative AI tools to accelerate development and prototyping.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following established patterns and conducting thoughtful code reviews (including AI-generated code).
• Collaborate closely with product and UX teams to deliver seamless, user-focused experiences.
• 3+ years’ experience in native mobile development with strong Kotlin and Swift expertise, including modern concurrency.
• Solid grounding in mobile architecture, testing practices, and common tooling (eg MVVM/Clean Architecture, Git, dependency management and build systems).
• AI-first coding experience, actively utilising GenAI tools (eg code assistants)
