VP of Growth – DefenseTech Start-up – Washington D.C.

Darwin have partnered with a Defense Tech start-up who are poised for huge growth, having established themselves as a leader within their field, providing an innovative solution to a key problem the warfighter faces in today’s world.

They are now looking to hire a pivotal role for the organisation, a VP of Growth who will be responsible for scaling their revenue with the DoD and structuring the BD function for success in the years to come.

Experience of Interest

• Proven strategic leadership, managing successful teams and overseeing $100m+ DoD contracts.
• Strong individual track record of securing contracts for start-ups/scale-ups with the DoD.
• Experience progressing from R&D through to OTA’s / PoR’s, this can be across Army, Air Force or Navy domains.
• Strong understanding of Defense procurement processes and a network of decision makers across the DoD.
• US Citizen, with active TS/SCI clearance or ability to gain.

Pay circa $250,000 – $300,000 + Comms (OTE $500k+) + Equity, to be based in Washington D.C. or spend at least 1 week per month there.
