Field Service Technician – Heat Exchangers
We are working with an established international engineering company specialising in industrial heat transfer technology and heat exchangers. Due to continued growth of their service team, they are looking for a practical and motivated Field Service Technician to join their Dutch operation.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with industrial equipment, travelling to customers and solving technical problems in the field.
Previous heat exchanger experience is an advantage, but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right person.
The Role
After an initial training period in the workshop, you will work across the Netherlands and Benelux, visiting customer sites to carry out service and maintenance activities on industrial heat exchanger equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintenance, inspection and servicing of industrial heat exchangers
- Disassembly, repair and reassembly of equipment
- Troubleshooting and fault finding
- Preventative maintenance and technical inspections
- Supporting customers with technical issues
- Carrying out service work independently at customer sites
- Completing service reports and documenting completed work
- Working closely with the workshop and wider service team
- Participating in an on-call rota, approximately once every six weeks
You will work with customers across a range of industrial environments, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy and manufacturing.

The company is particularly interested in practical, reliable technicians with the right mentality and attitude. Exact qualifications or previous heat-exchanger experience are less important than your ability to work hands-on, solve problems and develop technically.

Requirements
- Fluent Dutch
