Linux Specialist (Hybrid-role) – Den Haag

Our client is currently undergoing a large scale internal digital transformation to decentralize their infrastructure capabilities. Your biggest challenge will be to transform the infrastructure into a shared platform for all internal teams while maintaining 100% operational continuity for millions of end users.

I am looking for someone who:

• Has extensive hands-on experience with Docker Swarm and setting up container environments.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of CentOS 6/7 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6/7.
• Has experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet and Ansible.
• Is skilled in Linux scripting using Bash and/or Python.
• Has experience with the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring and logging.
• Understands core infrastructure concepts such as DNS, SMTP/email, NTP, IP routing, and firewalls.
• Has a good command of Dutch and/or English, both written and spoken.
• Is willing to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule to ensure continuity.

Someone interested in:

• Designing, building, and maintaining an internal IaaS platform to support developers and business teams within the organization.
• Ensuring a stable, secure, and high-performing Linux environment.
• Documenting and auditing systems to maintain high quality and security standards.
• Collaborating closely with internal technical teams to help them adopt containerized workflows.
• Proactively resolving and preventing incidents before they impact the business.

OpenShift experience will be a bonus, and we do need you to be part of a 24/7 on-call rota.
