Cryptography Engineer

This client is a stealth-mode deep-tech startup in the semiconductor space, currently in a critical product development phase. They’re working toward securing key certifications and are facing the exciting challenge of scaling their secure chip platform for real-world AI applications. You’ll be joining at a pivotal moment, where your work will directly impact product and architecture direction.
I’m looking for someone who:
- Has deep expertise in classical and modern cryptographic algorithms/protocols
- Is experienced in formal methods and formal verification/security proofs
- Has used tools like Tamarin Prover or ProVerif
- Holds a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computer Engineering
Who is interested in:
- Designing and implementing cryptographic algorithms and protocols
- Identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in cryptographic systems
- Working on cutting-edge formal verification projects
- Playing a key role in shaping cryptographic architecture
- Gaining experience with high-assurance certification processes (FIPS 140-3, Common Criteria)
