Darwin Space are currently hiring for an Electronics Hardware Engineer in Toulouse.
Responsibilities
* Design, manufacture and test ground and flight hardware focusing on physical power and data interfaces (boards, harnesses, analog circuits)
* Justify your work, and take part in the writing of technical documentation for requirements derivation
* Work with systems engineers on the evolution of the product line, and support the commercial and operational teams on product customization
* Take part in testing, automation of processes, (re)design for manufacturing, and more
* You will work on real space missions with very short design-to-orbit timelines: some of the things you start will be in space next year!

Experience
* 3 to 5 years’ experience in avionics for the aerospace and defence industry, for example at a large subcontractor, NewSpace satellite manufacturer, or prime defence contractor
* Specific experience with electrical hardware design and testing is a must, familiarity with the manufacturing of avionics equipment (from component to subsystem level) is a strong bonus
* A tech person with a systems mind: your other skills (mechanical engineering, simple embedded software, etc.), and very good technical communication skills bring strength to the integrated team
* Fluent in English
