Overview
The business is seeking a Designer to join its Development team, working on innovative loading systems for waste collection vehicles used worldwide. You will be involved from concept through to production in a multidisciplinary, hands-on engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into mechanical designs
- Develop new concepts and improve existing machines
- Create production drawings using PTC Creo Parametric
- Perform strength calculations to validate designs
- Support lean manufacturing through smart design solutions
- Build, assemble, and test prototypes
- Document design decisions and technical outcomes
Requirements
- HBO-level education (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar)
- Strong mechanical engineering affinity
- Experience with production techniques
- Practical, creative, and responsible mindset
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English
- Motivation valued even if not all criteria are met
