About the Role

We are working with a successful and future-focused company operating within the renewable energy sector, specialising in photovoltaic (PV) systems and their ongoing operation and maintenance.

As the PV Remote Support / O&M Specialist, you will play an important role in supporting the reliable operation of PV installations. You will provide technical support remotely, monitor system performance, coordinate maintenance activities and act as a key point of contact for customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical background in PV, renewable energy or IT/system integration who enjoys troubleshooting, customer interaction and working in a dynamic, growing industry.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for the commissioning, maintenance and repair of PV systems

• Configure PV systems within the company’s O&M service platform

• Monitor PV installations through dedicated monitoring portals and identify potential issues

• Configure data loggers, routers and other communication infrastructure used within PV systems

• Create, manage, track and document maintenance and service tickets

• Review maintenance and service reports and initiate appropriate follow-up actions where required

• Support customers with technical questions, issues and general enquiries

• Troubleshoot technical and communication-related issues and work towards efficient solutions

• Ensure technical activities and findings are accurately documented

What We’re Looking For

• Completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration, degree in Renewable Energy or a comparable technical qualification

• Good understanding of the technical design and operation of PV systems

• Experience with PV monitoring systems, communication infrastructure or O&M environments would be advantageous

• Confident communication skills in German (C1 level or native speaker) and English

• Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented approach

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage priorities reliably

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand and document technical information accurately
