Job Title: Sales Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a technically strong and commercially driven Sales Manager to join an international team dedicated to delivering sustainable cargo and load-handling solutions to the maritime and offshore sectors. In this role, you will be a key driver of commercial success, responsible for strategically growing sales turnover within a defined customer base across a full product portfolio.
You will ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by understanding technical needs, providing high-quality pre-sales support, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and market expansion. This position requires a balance of technical understanding, customer relationship management, and strategic sales execution.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial & Sales Management
- Manage and develop dedicated customer accounts to maximize sales turnover across the full product portfolio.
- Drive the complete sales cycle end-to-end, from market intelligence and offer preparation through negotiation and contract closure.
- Lead comprehensive offer preparation, coordinating input from naval architects, tendering teams, and other internal experts.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements in alignment with internal approval procedures.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Maintain and deepen customer relationships through regular communication and site visits to support loyalty and long-term partnerships.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to support internal strategy and new technology development.
Internal Coordination
- Ensure all sales activity, customer updates, and leads are accurately documented in the CRM system and effectively handed over to order fulfilment teams.
- Actively drive cross-selling initiatives and share new opportunities with relevant sales divisions and business units.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technical discipline (or equivalent professional experience with strong technical understanding).
- Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in technical sales, project management, engineering, or a related field.
- Solid technical knowledge (e.g., mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or electronic systems).
- Proven background in pre-sales support and solution-based sales.
- Valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
