Your mission:
You are our electrical engineering mastermind , covering a broad spectrum. For our battery storage products , you develop hardware concepts that are unique today, from idea to implementation.You support the project team as a hands-on problem solver in the technical evaluation of new projects and the realization of successful projects – with a clear focus on medium voltage . As a small team, we rely on strong collaboration: You work as an equal with existing and new partners, whom you actively identify, cultivate, and develop. Ideally, you bring an existing network with you. You also conduct technical coordination with grid operators , represent our positions assertively , and maintain a clear focus. Once systems are operational, you oversee the certification process as an electrical specialist .Your open, cooperative communication and your project management experience bring structure to complex projects and further develop the team and projects. And because we are a startup, you think entrepreneurially and are passionate aboutand shaping our shared goal . Your responsibilities:
- You develop new connection and measurement concepts for battery storage systems in industrial environments (also in combination with PV) and derive the necessary hardware for grid connection and data recording from them.
- You actively participate in shaping the system architecture of our storage projects and define connection, measurement and protection concepts, including operating strategy and integration with the existing infrastructure.
- You analyze electrotechnical documents (e.g. site plans, network connection diagrams, SLDs) and evaluate locations and customer inquiries regarding feasibility, connectivity and expansion potential.
- You accompany projects through to implementation, conduct technical coordination with network operators and partners, and support certification as a responsible electrical specialist.
Your profile
- You are a master electrician, a state-certified technician, or have completed a degree in electrical engineering/energy technology/industrial engineering (specializing in electrical engineering/renewables) with above-average success.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in energy technology/grid connection with a focus on medium-voltage systems (preferably including switching authorization)
- You can confidently read, interpret, and independently create technical drawings (site plans, SLDs, circuit diagrams) using common tools.
- You are passionate about the energy transition and ideally have prior knowledge in the areas of battery storage, PV or energy markets.
- You take responsibility for the product and team, remain calm and solution-oriented even in complex project environments, have an interface mindset (technology-business) and bring above-average commitment and a genuine desire to shape the future.
- You have excellent German skills, both written and spoken, to confidently represent complex issues to clients and authorities.
