We’re looking for a Payroll Implementation Consultant to join a growing consulting team delivering Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The successful candidate will also play a key role implementing and configuring an innovative in-house payroll platform for enterprise clients.

What You’ll Bring
- 3-5 years of hands-on payroll experience, including payroll processing, reconciliation, tax, and compliance (U.S. multi-state payroll experience is highly desirable)
- 3-5 years implementing or configuring Payroll and/or HRIS solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, ADP, Workday, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar enterprise platforms
- Experience supporting full payroll implementation lifecycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, payroll parallel runs, and go-live support
- Understanding of ERP implementations is advantageous
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- SQL knowledge (joins and queries) is beneficial
- Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting environment
- Ability to travel approximately 25-30% as required
- Authorization to work in the United States
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end Payroll and HCM implementation projects built on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Configure and implement an in-house payroll platform tailored to client requirements.
- Gather and document payroll business requirements and translate them into system configurations.
- Configure payroll components including earnings, deductions, tax settings, pay rules, and general ledger mappings.
- Lead payroll workshops and discovery sessions with client stakeholders.
- Support payroll testing, parallel payroll runs, user acceptance testing, and production go-live activities.
- Provide client training and knowledge transfer on payroll processes and system functionality.
- Assist with data migration, integrations, and mapping between enterprise systems.
- Produce functional specifications, configuration documentation, and process documentation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and client teams throughout implementations.
- Troubleshoot payroll and system issues during implementation and post-go-live support.
- Contribute to solution design, implementation best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, proposals, and discovery sessions when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Human Resources or Payroll solutions
- Exposure to enterprise payroll integrations
- Experience with enterprise data migration projects
- Consulting or professional services experience is highly desirable
