The Compliance Specialist, International Shipping (Germany/EU) supports a global e-commerce business by ensuring cross-border shipping from the EU, particularly Germany, meets EU and German trade and environmental regulations.

Ideal for a detail-oriented early-career professional who can support audits, documentation, and compliance reviews across international shipping routes.

Key skills and Experience required

• 1-3 years’ experience in trade compliance, customs, logistics, or regulatory operations
• Background in e-commerce or cross-border shipping preferred
• Knowledge of EU export controls, sanctions, customs procedures, VAT/IOSS, and environmental compliance frameworks
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret regulations and guidance
• Confident communicator across international and cross-functional teams
• Analytical mindset with good Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Experience with audits, trade data validation, classification, or reporting processes is beneficial
• Self-starter with a collaborative approach and interest in global trade compliance
