Sales Manager – Maritime Newbuild (Technical Equipment)
Location: Hamburg, Germany
Travel: Regional (Europe), with occasional global travel
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Remote Work: Up to 3 days/week home office flexibility

Company Overview
We are working with a financially stable and well-respected maritime engineering
company known for its high-quality technical equipment. With strong traditions, a
collaborative culture, and solid international ambitions, the company is now expanding
its sales division to strengthen its presence in the European newbuild market.

Role Overview
As Sales Manager – Newbuild, you will be responsible for developing and managing new
business across Europe, focusing on the sale of maritime equipment for newbuild
projects. This is a full sales cycle position involving technical understanding,
commercial strategy, and active client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation to contract
negotiation and closing
* Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, shipyards, and key
maritime stakeholders
* Promote and sell a technical portfolio of maritime equipment used in vessel
newbuilds
* Identify market opportunities and trends across Europe and potentially globally
* Coordinate closely with internal engineering and product teams to ensure client
needs are met
* Represent the company at relevant industry events, exhibitions, and meetings
Candidate Profile
* Strong B2B sales experience, ideally in the maritime, shipbuilding, or technical
machinery sector
* Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
* Technical understanding of maritime systems or machinery preferred
* Fluent in English; German is a strong advantage
* Willingness to travel regularly within Europe
* Engineering or technical background is a plus, but not essential
* Personable, confident, and able to represent the company in high-level
discussions
