About the Role
We are supporting an innovative industrial project and are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Field / Commissioning Technician to support on-site operations and commissioning activities.
You will work closely with internal engineering teams, focusing on execution, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems in a live project environment.
This is a practical, site-based role suited to someone who thrives in the field and enjoys solving technical challenges on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Support mechanical installation and commissioning activities
- Carry out testing, inspection, and troubleshooting of equipment
- Assist with FAT/SAT and system start-up activities
- Perform maintenance and fault-finding on mechanical systems
- Work closely with engineers to ensure smooth project execution
- Ensure all activities are performed in line with HSE standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hands-on mechanical or field-based role
- Background in industries such as:
- Energy / Oil & Gas
- Process industry
- Heavy industry / industrial plants
- Experience with commissioning, maintenance, or installation
- Strong practical skills in:
- Mechanical systems
- Equipment troubleshooting
- On-site operations
- Comfortable working in a site-based, execution-focused role
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
