As a Construction & Installation Support Engineer, you will provide hands-on technical and construction support for utility-scale solar projects, overseeing the installation and commissioning of ground-mounted solar systems, including trackers, fixed-tilt structures, and carport solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Support and oversee the installation of utility-scale solar mounting systems across Europe

Provide on-site construction support throughout project delivery and installation phases

Deliver installation training to contractors and customers
-
Assist with prototype installations and commissioning activities
-
Conduct quality inspections on materials and installation works
-
Act as the key liaison between customers, installation partners, and technical teams
-
Identify and resolve site-related technical challenges
-
Ensure installation quality standards are maintained and project risks are minimised
What We’re Looking For:

Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience working with PV ground-mounted systems, including trackers and fixed-tilt structures

Strong understanding of the European solar market and competing technologies
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-
Fluent English; additional European languages are advantageous

Ability to work independently within an international environment
-
Willingness to travel extensively across Europe and the UK
