Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and program automation control system hardware and software using SIEMENS PCS7, ROCKWELL PLANTPAX DCS, HMI, and SCADA, adhering to customer requirements.
- Develop technical documentation, including FEED studies, safety specifications, design documents, testing protocols, and operations manuals.
- Work directly with clients to understand their technical needs and ensure solutions are safe and efficient.
- Led teams of engineers and technicians, overseeing the entire process from design to commissioning.
- Be prepared to travel and work on international project sites.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with industrial automation systems.
- Proficient in designing and implementing PLC Control Systems, especially in FMCG, Food & Beverage, and personal care sectors.
- Skilled in programming PCS 7 and AB PlantPax control systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA and HMI systems such as WinCC, FactoryTalk SE, and Aveva.
- Understanding of safety systems, safety relays, safety PLCs, and communication protocols like Profibus, ProfiNet, and Modbus.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, software design per IEC 61508 / IEC 6151, and full project lifecycle management.
Skills & Proficiencies:
- Strong technical aptitude in mathematics, science, and technology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Effective time management and ability to work independently or in cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of electrical theory, control components, and automation processes.
- Organized, calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-driven, proactive, reliable, and adaptable to new technological advancements.
- Excellent English language skills and a full driving license.
