Darwin Recruitment are currently hiring for a Mid-Level GNC Engineer on behalf of a company that has offices in both Czech Republic & Germany. Formed in 2014, this company specializes in the integration of small satellites and probes. They are involved in various projects, including a lunar probe and several Earth observation satellites for commercial clients. Their services encompass hyperspectral sensing, LiDAR, cybersecurity for satellites, onboard data processing, and 3D printing for space applications. Additionally, this company is engaged in digitizing agriculture through AI data processing and is working on a microgravity laboratory. Responsibilities
* You develop and implement GNC algorithms for satellite mission for both earth orbit and beyond
* You test the algorithm up to flight qualifications
* You perform GNC concept design, FDIR, mission design and planning
* You support other activities and project in the field of GNC/AOCS
* You participate in and contribute to technical discussions
* You interact with other subsystem, System engineers and manufacturing teams for the development and sustaining of new and current products
Experience
* A Bachelor or higher engineering degree; in any relevant area such as aerospace engineering; electronic engineering; computer science or automation
* 3+ years of experience in the AOCS/GNC field
* Knowledge of spacecraft subsystems and space environments
* Proficiency in use of MatLab/Simulink
* Knowledge of AOCS sensors and actuators, Navigation techniques and control theory
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Proactive attitude and ability to work in a team
* Knowledge of C/C++ is an asset
* Fluent in English
* Willingness to Travel
* Ability to work in either Czech Republic or Germany
