Product Safety Engineer – UAVs

Location: Portugal – fully on-site
Salary: €50,000-€60,000 gross annually

We’re hiring two Product Safety Engineers, specialising in hardware or software, for a growing UAV technology business.

Embedded within a product team, you’ll assess safety risks, define safety requirements and support airworthiness throughout development.

Requirements:

• Hands-on product safety, system safety or airworthiness experience.

• Background in aerospace, UAVs or other safety-critical systems.

• Strong hardware or software engineering knowledge.

• Ability to work independently and negotiate practical safety solutions.

• Fluent English.

Ideally 10+ years’ relevant experience, although candidates with 5+ years and strong technical autonomy will be considered.
