About the Role
This role is responsible for managing the design, estimation, fabrication, and installation of overhead cranes and supporting structures. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver projects from concept through to installation, ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and on-time
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure overhead cranes, structures, fixtures, and related systems.
- Prepare technical quotations, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Manage projects through design, fabrication, and installation phases.
- Liaise with customers, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct engineering design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support site-based technical queries and provide engineering recommendations.
- Oversee fabrication and installation activities to ensure productivity and project success.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine design, heavy industrial equipment, manufacturing, maintenance, crane systems, or structural fabrication.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, steel fabrication, metallurgy, and industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient with Autodesk CAD software (Inventor, Mechanical, Electrical, FEA), TEDDS, and Microsoft Office.
