About the Role

This role is responsible for managing the design, estimation, fabrication, and installation of overhead cranes and supporting structures. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver projects from concept through to installation, ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and on-time

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure overhead cranes, structures, fixtures, and related systems.
• Prepare technical quotations, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Manage projects through design, fabrication, and installation phases.
• Liaise with customers, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct engineering design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Support site-based technical queries and provide engineering recommendations.
• Oversee fabrication and installation activities to ensure productivity and project success.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in machine design, heavy industrial equipment, manufacturing, maintenance, crane systems, or structural fabrication.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, steel fabrication, metallurgy, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Autodesk CAD software (Inventor, Mechanical, Electrical, FEA), TEDDS, and Microsoft Office.
