Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction & Commissioning Manager to lead industrial construction projects from design through commissioning and start-up. This role is responsible for project execution, safety, scheduling, cost control, contractor management, and customer engagement to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction and commissioning projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Lead on-site construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular progress reporting.
- Manage project risks, costs, contracts, and customer relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in industrial construction and project management.
- Strong experience with commissioning and start-up activities.
- Proven leadership, contractor management, and customer-facing skills.
- Experience with project scheduling software (MS Project preferred).
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).
Preferred Industry Experience
Industrial Manufacturing, Utilities, Energy, Oil & Gas, Industrial Gases, Process Plants, EPC Projects, or Heavy Industrial Construction.
