Job Description – Project Controller (LNG Gas Project)
Location: Paris, France
Start Date: ASAP
Duration : 3 Months, renewable (Project Expected duration is 2 years)

Role Purpose:
The Project Controller will oversee project planning, cost control, scheduling, and progress monitoring for an LNG terminal Expansion Project. The role ensures that the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while complying with contractual, financial, and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cost & Budget Control
- Develop, implement, and maintain the project cost control system.
- Prepare and consolidate project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on project expenditures and commitments versus budget.
- Identify variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain cost efficiency.
2. Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare and update project EPC schedules in coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
- Track progress against baselines and highlight deviations.
- Assist in identifying critical paths and potential delays, proposing mitigation plans.
3. Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare weekly and monthly project control reports (cost, progress, productivity, KPIs).
- Provide input for project dashboards and executive summaries.
- Ensure alignment of financial and technical reporting with project milestones.
4. Coordination & Support
- Work closely with project management, engineering, Procurement, construction, and finance teams.
- Support decision-making with reliable cost and progress data.
- Provide input during project close-out, lessons learned, and final reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in project control within the oil & gas / energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of project control processes (cost, planning, risk, reporting).
- Proficiency in project control tools (Primavera P6, Excel).
- Familiarity with EPC contracts.
- Previous experience in gas projects (LNG plants, pipelines, gas treatment facilities) is highly desirable.
