Position: Sales Manager / Director
Responsibilities

Develop the sales strategy in collaboration with the technical sales team and executive leadership

Lead the sales function, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, and work alongside clinical engineers for technical support, quotes, and offers

Ensure diligent follow-up of leads (Key Account Management)

Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions

Collaborate with a marketing agency to drive content and initiatives that support sales

Continuously deepen understanding of unmet needs to optimize sales approaches

Develop and lead a team of sales representatives and sales managers, create the sales playbook, establish sales processes and reporting tools, and manage initial distributor relationships
Requirements
-
Currently working as a sales manager or director for a medtech or biotech start-up or scale-up

Significant experience with SDR/lead generation and inside sales

Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills

Fluent in English and German or French; proficiency in additional European languages is a strong plus

Master’s degree in business, bioengineering, or medical field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience
