Project Planner – Data Centre Construction | Germany

An established international engineering contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project in Germany.

This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term project security, exposure to large-scale mission-critical infrastructure, and the chance to work alongside experienced project delivery teams on complex engineering projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining integrated construction programmes using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Producing labour-loaded schedules, histograms, S-curves and progress reports.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial teams and site teams to monitor progress and identify programme risks.
• Coordinating with the main contractor to develop and maintain an integrated project schedule.
• Leading planning meetings, look-ahead sessions and schedule reviews.
• Tracking productivity, analysing performance against programme and supporting recovery planning where required.
• Providing early warning of programme risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or relevant industry experience).
• Previous experience in project planning within construction, engineering or mission-critical projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, commercial information and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
