About the Company:
We are an advanced technology organization operating at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and national defense. Our mission is to develop cutting-edge perception systems that enhance situational awareness, enable autonomous decision-making, and support the safety and effectiveness of defense operations. Our team includes leading engineers, researchers, and domain experts working on meaningful solutions to real-world security challenges.
The Role:
We’re looking for a Computer Vision Engineer who is passionate about applying deep technical expertise to projects with national impact. This role involves developing and deploying state-of-the-art vision algorithms to power next-generation sensing and intelligence platforms. You will help build systems that operate in complex, unstructured environments – from aerial to ground-based platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Develop computer vision algorithms for detection, tracking, segmentation, and scene understanding in challenging environments.
-
Build and optimize deep learning models for processing video, multispectral imagery, and sensor fusion data.
-
Implement and maintain robust, scalable codebases for use in edge computing and real-time systems.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in software, systems engineering, and field testing.
-
Contribute to model evaluation, data pipeline construction, and performance benchmarking.
Requirements:
-
3-7 years of experience in computer vision, deep learning, or a related field.
-
Proficient in Python and/or C++, with strong experience using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent tools.
-
Solid understanding of visual perception challenges in real-world environments.
-
Experience developing models for object detection, tracking, or SLAM.
-
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency may be required due to the nature of certain projects.
Bonus Qualifications:
-
Experience with sensor fusion (e.g., LiDAR, radar + camera).
-
Familiarity with embedded platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, ARM).
-
Experience working on government, defense, or dual-use technologies.
-
Background in working with aerial or satellite imagery.
What We Offer:
-
Opportunity to contribute to technologies that serve a national mission.
-
Collaborative, purpose-driven culture with strong technical leadership.
-
Flexible working arrangements and strong support for work-life balance.
-
Competitive compensation package including performance-based bonuses and equity potential.
