As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Head of Product Operations to bring structure, strategic clarity, and operational excellence to our product organization.
The Opportunity
As the first Head of Product Operations, you will play a critical role in shaping how the product organization operates. Reporting directly to the senior product leader, you will work closely with teams across product management, engineering, design, research, data, and content.
This is a foundational “build” role where you will establish the function from the ground up-defining processes, enabling collaboration, and ensuring the organization can scale effectively. Your work will improve alignment, accelerate execution, and maximize product impact for customers and the business.
What You’ll Do
1. Operational Strategy & Governance
- Establish and lead the Product Operations function, including defining its scope, structure, and roadmap
- Design and implement planning frameworks (e.g., quarterly and annual planning, roadmaps, OKRs, team health reviews)
- Standardize best practices across the product lifecycle, from discovery through delivery and post-launch evaluation
2. Cross-Functional Alignment & Enablement
- Partner closely with senior product leadership to ensure alignment across product, engineering, design, research, data, and content teams
- Improve visibility and communication of product initiatives, progress, and outcomes across the organization and leadership team
- Facilitate collaboration across teams and proactively manage dependencies
3. Data, Insights & Reporting
- Define and implement product metrics and KPIs in collaboration with product and data teams
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks to track product performance, team effectiveness, and customer outcomes
- Use insights to inform decision-making, prioritization, and resource allocation
4. Tooling, Systems & Process Optimization
- Oversee and optimize the tools and systems that support product teams (e.g., work management and collaboration platforms)
- Streamline workflows to reduce operational friction and improve team efficiency
- Partner with internal functions such as IT, finance, and HR on systems and operational processes
5. Culture & Team Development
- Support initiatives that promote team engagement, performance, and development
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and role frameworks across product-related functions
- Help foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 5-7+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or strategic operations within a technology-driven environment
- Experience building or scaling operational functions in high-growth organizations
- Strong understanding of product development processes and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent program management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
- Experience working with and influencing senior leadership
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and building processes from scratch
