Construction Safety Manager – Data Center Project
10-Month Contract | 1099 or W2 Accepted
This is a contract assignment. Candidates must have a proven background working on contract-based roles.
Role Summary
We are supporting a major data center construction project in Houston and are looking for an experienced Construction Safety Manager to join the site team on a 10-month contract.
This position requires a safety professional who is comfortable operating in a contractor-driven environment and has previously supported projects delivered by major general contractors or established subcontractors.
What You’ll Be Doing

Provide day-to-day safety leadership on an active data center construction site

Enforce site EHS standards and client safety requirements

Perform site inspections, audits, and incident investigations

Support subcontractor onboarding, orientations, and ongoing compliance

Participate in daily coordination meetings and field planning sessions

Act as a visible safety presence across multiple trades
What We’re Looking For

Prior experience with a major General Contractor or reputable subcontractor

Strong construction background (data center experience preferred)

Demonstrated success in contract-based safety assignments

Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, schedule-driven environments

Confident communicator with site leadership and field teams
Credentials
-
OSHA 30 required (OSHA 510/500 a plus)

CHST, CSP, or equivalent certifications advantageous

Solid working knowledge of OSHA standards
