We are working with a Marine Service Provider with their search for an experienced Marine Estimator to support the development of project budgets, proposals, and cost estimates for marine and maritime-related projects. This role works closely with operations, engineering, and business development teams to evaluate project requirements, prepare accurate estimates, and support successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
• Prepare labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Develop project schedules and resource forecasts.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering teams during the estimating process.
• Communicate with clients to clarify project scope and requirements.
• Analyze project risks and operational constraints.
• Prepare proposals, bid packages, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain estimating records and cost databases.
• Track vendor pricing and subcontractor quotes.
• Support project planning and business development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Experience in marine operations, shipyard environments, or maritime services.
• Knowledge of vessel systems and marine industry practices.
• Experience preparing estimates, budgets, or project proposals.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with pleasure, commercial, government, military, and maritime operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
