Project Scope

We are currently seeking experienced MCE (Major Component Exchange) Technicians to support a main bearing exchange project on Nordex N149 Delta 4000 turbines at an onshore wind farm in Finland.

The successful candidates will join a specialist team responsible for the safe and efficient execution of major corrective maintenance activities, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with OEM procedures, site regulations, and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform main bearing exchange activities on Nordex N149 Delta 4000 wind turbines.
• Execute disassembly, removal, installation, alignment, and commissioning tasks related to the main bearing replacement.
• Work closely with site management, crane teams, and supporting technicians throughout the exchange process.
• Follow Nordex technical documentation, work instructions, and quality procedures.
• Complete all required documentation and reporting associated with the project.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety briefings.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience performing Major Component Exchanges (MCE) on wind turbines.
• Previous hands-on experience working on Nordex turbines is mandatory.
• Experience with main bearing exchanges is highly desirable.
• Valid GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) certificates.
• Valid GWO Working at Heights certification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and mechanical drawings.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team environment.
