Position: Senior .Net Developer
Location: Hoorn & Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid – 3 days in-office)
Employment Type: Fixed Term
Compensation: €70,000 – €80,000 base salary (inclusive of holiday allowance) plus yearly bonus & additional benefits.

Our client is a well-established provider in the capital markets sector, supporting a diverse portfolio of organizations including large public companies, private enterprises, and government bodies across Europe and other international regions.
They are currently seeking a talented Senior .Net Developer to join their Governance team. This role focuses on enhancing and maintaining a leading board portal solution, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable software performance.
Responsibilities

Developing Applications:

Convert detailed storyboards and use cases into high-quality, scalable software solutions.

Create and maintain reusable code that meets stringent performance and reliability standards.

Optimization & Troubleshooting:

Enhance application performance and responsiveness by proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Troubleshoot and fix issues to uphold system stability.

Team Collaboration & Agile Practices:
-
Work in close partnership with the Product Owner to align development work with business objectives.

Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to the continuous improvement of team workflows.

Technical Oversight:
-
Engage in thorough code reviews and help design key features with a focus on quality.

Identify areas of technical debt and document improvement opportunities clearly.

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

Develop comprehensive documentation for onboarding, knowledge transfer, and ongoing communication.

Client-Centric Issue Resolution:

Prioritize addressing client issues quickly, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Technical Expertise
-
Core Development:
-
At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in C# and .Net/.Net Core development.

Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), microservices architectures, and established design patterns.

Competence in using containerization and orchestration technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.

Additional Skills:

Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js or Angular is highly advantageous.

Strong understanding of API security and data privacy best practices.

Well-versed in DevOps methodologies, including configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow, and modern deployment strategies.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
