Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Professional to support our operations in compliance with local and international regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, minimizing environmental risks, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with Italian legislation and industry best practices.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard analysis to ensure workplace safety and compliance.
- Lead safety training programs and awareness campaigns for employees.
- Monitor environmental impact and sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure all required HSE documentation and permits are up to date.
- Support audits and inspections, ensuring continuous improvement of safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of HSE experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of Italian HSE laws and regulations.
- Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or Italian equivalent) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Proficient in Italian and English proficiency is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
