The Role

As a CAD Technician / Designer within the civil and infrastructure engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions across utility and engineering projects. You will be involved in both technical modelling and creative problem-solving, contributing to modern digital planning approaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of utility infrastructure systems, including gas, water, district heating/cooling, and wastewater networks.
• Design and support the delivery of engineering and structural infrastructure projects using modern digital tools.
• Contribute innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges, balancing precision with creativity.
• Utilise industry-standard software such as Revit, Allplan, or Civil 3D for modelling and design tasks.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, representing your discipline and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Optionally support and mentor junior team members or apprentices.

Your Profile

• Completed training in civil engineering drafting/design (or equivalent qualification).
• Strong understanding of industry standards combined with a desire to innovate and improve processes.
• Interest in digitalisation, automation, and new engineering technologies.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and contribute ideas.
• Creative problem-solver with attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
