SAP MDG Consultant (Contract)

Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join a remote project team supporting a large-scale SAP landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant with strong Master Data Governance expertise and a proven consulting background to work on an international project operating within European business hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP MDG implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities.
• Gather and analyse business requirements related to master data governance processes.
• Configure and customize SAP MDG solutions across relevant data domains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical consultants.
• Design and improve data governance frameworks, workflows, and approval processes.
• Support data migration, data quality initiatives, and master data harmonization.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP MDG best practices and governance standards.
• Participate in workshops, solution design sessions, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP MDG experience in implementation and support environments.
• Strong consulting background with experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Proven experience in SAP Master Data Governance configuration and solution design.
• Strong understanding of master data management principles and governance frameworks.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote international team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Language Requirements

• English: C1 level or above (mandatory)

• Contract Type: Freelance / Contractor
• Duration: 6 Months (with strong possibility of extension)
• Location: Fully Remote
• Working Pattern: 5 days per week
• Time Zone: European business hours
• Rate: Competitive (€€€), nearshore rates preferred
