Systems Implementation Project Manager (Bilingual)

Overview
An established logistics and transportation organization is seeking a Systems Implementation Project Manager to lead maintenance and repair operations for intermodal equipment, including containers, chassis, and flat racks. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, safety oversight, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support mechanics and welders performing equipment repairs and preventive maintenance
- Implement a new maintenance and repair strategy
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, FHWA, and IICL standards
- Oversee annual inspections and preventive maintenance programs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory reporting
- Lead safety training and enforce safe work practices
- Assist with training, performance reviews, and overtime management
- Provide hands-on technical support and serve as backup to maintenance leadership when required
Requirements
- 3+ years of intermodal equipment repair experience; 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance programs
- Experience in marine ports, shipping, transportation, or marine logistics environments
- Basic computer skills (MS Office)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card within 30 days
