Sales Manager – Photonics
The Role
As Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing strategic customer accounts and driving revenue across North America. Working closely with engineering, product management and executive leadership, you’ll identify customer needs, position complex photonics solutions and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical sales background who enjoys building relationships within fast-moving, technology-driven markets.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow revenue across key accounts and target markets.
- Identify, qualify and secure new business opportunities with OEMs, system integrators and strategic partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical and commercial partner.
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to align customer requirements with product development.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows and customer meetings.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting and CRM activity.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Business or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of technical sales or business development experience within photonics, optics, semiconductors or related high-tech industries.
- Proven track record of developing new business and managing strategic customer accounts.
- Experience selling complex technical products to OEMs, hyperscalers, telecom, datacom or semiconductor customers.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions to both engineering and executive stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as required across North America.
