Are you ready to take on high-impact engineering projects that power industries around the world?
Join a global leader known for delivering tailor-made compressor and energy-technology solutions that push the boundaries of performance, efficiency, and reliability. If you’re driven by technical challenge, cross-functional collaboration, and end-to-end project ownership, this is your next big opportunity.
About the Role
As a Project Engineer, you will be at the heart of complex, multi-discipline engineering projects-guiding compressor package solutions from first concept through to final delivery. You will coordinate across mechanical, process, electrical, automation, and manufacturing teams to ensure each project meets exacting technical, cost, and schedule expectations.
This role is ideal for a proactive engineer with a strong technical foundation, a structured approach to project execution, and the ambition to work on projects with real global impact.
What You’ll Do
-
Lead engineering activities for rotating-equipment and compressor-skid projects, ensuring strict compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
-
Perform mechanical and thermodynamic calculations, including compressor selection, performance analysis, heat-balance development, and auxiliary system design.
-
Develop and review key engineering documentation-P&IDs, datasheets, mechanical layouts, BOMs, and technical specifications.
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
-
Support procurement by evaluating technical offers, preparing requisitions, and liaising with suppliers.
-
Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and risk assessments such as HAZID/HAZOP.
-
Provide engineering support during fabrication, FAT testing, and commissioning phases.
-
Contribute to improving engineering tools, calculation methods, and documentation standards.
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
-
2-5 years of experience in rotating equipment, skid packages, oil & gas, or industrial engineering (compressor experience is a strong advantage).
-
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and process design.
-
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
-
Familiarity with relevant international standards (e.g., API 619, PED, ASME B31.3, ASME VIII, ATEX, AD2000, TEMA).
-
Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is an asset.
-
Bonus skills: programming/scripting knowledge (Excel VBA, Python, MATLAB, C++), PLC/Siemens TIA Portal.
-
Excellent organizational, communication, and technical writing skills.
-
Fluent English and Italian; French or German is a plus.
-
Willingness to travel internationally for engineering meetings, inspections, and site visits.
Why Join?
-
Work within an innovative engineering environment with a global project footprint.
-
Tackle technically demanding projects with tangible real-world impact.
-
Benefit from cross-department collaboration and exposure to the full engineering life cycle.
-
Competitive compensation package.
-
Strong support for professional development and continued training.
-
Opportunities to join FATs, field activities, and international commissioning missions.
If you’re ready to elevate your engineering career and contribute to world-class industrial solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
