Objective
The S/4 PETS Architect serves as the guardian S4 PETS architecture throughout the SAP S/4HANA transformation. This role defines and governs the architectural blueprint, ensuring seamless alignment between business goals and IT capabilities. By orchestrating key design decisions, managing integration across systems, and guiding the transition from legacy to target architecture

Key Responsibilities

• S/4HANA PETS Architecture Definition: Translate business objectives into application impact. Define the lifecycle management for all impacted systems and applications within the enterprise landscape.
• Architecture Roadmap Definition: Manage the transition from the as-is toward the target architecture by designing transition architecture diagrams.
• Key Design Decision Facilitation: Orchestrate and facilitate the decision-making process for critical architectural design decisions, ensuring consensus, adherence to architectural principles, and alignment with business goals. Host the Design Authority Board.
• Integration Governance & Management: Govern and oversee the integration strategy and management of interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and the broader enterprise application landscape, ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency across systems and workstreams

Your experience

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years focused on SAP landscapes
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, ideally both greenfield and brownfield implementations
• Demonstrated ability to design and govern enterprise-wide architecture roadmaps, including transition states
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA retail architecture, including core modules, extensions, and integration patterns
• Proven ability to facilitate architectural decisions across diverse stakeholders and ensure alignment with business strategy
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
