The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of the delivery of complex security integration projects from initiation through to completion. Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You’ll lead multidisciplinary project teams, coordinate technical specialists and manage project planning, commercial performance and risk throughout the project lifecycle. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring projects run smoothly from both an operational and financial perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of electronic security projects from award through to completion.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and resource plans.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies before issues arise.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for additional work, system improvements and value-added services during project delivery.
- Report project progress, financial performance and KPIs to senior management.
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and delivery standards.
About You
You are an experienced Project Manager with a background in electronic security, building technology or systems integration. You are commercially aware, highly organised and confident managing both technical teams and customer relationships.
Ideally, you will have:
- Proven experience delivering complex electronic security or integrated systems projects.
- Knowledge of security platforms such as Genetec, Milestone or enterprise access control systems.
- Strong understanding of CCTV, access control and integrated security solutions.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules and commercial performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working with KPIs, project reporting and risk management.
- The ability to identify commercial opportunities while maintaining high delivery standards.
- A structured, proactive and results-driven approach to project management.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend the office regularly for project coordination and collaboration.
