Technical Inspector/Superintendent
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and planning the maintenance and repair of the nautical and
technical systems, equipment, and safety systems within a defined section of
our fleet
- Close cooperation and communication with the vessel crews
- Budget planning and control
- Handling insurance claims
- Preparing and conducting dockings, repairs, and maintenance work
What You Bring:
- A completed technical apprenticeship/degree with relevant seagoing experience
as a Technical Watch Officer or Chief Engineer (CT/CI licence)
- Experience in the inspection department of a shipping company
- Knowledge of ship technical maintenance and ship newbuilding is desirable
- Confident use of MS Office applications
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Willingness to travel
- Independent and responsible working style
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work in a team
