Field Service Technician – Join Our Growing Field Team!
To better support our customers and strengthen our service coverage, we are expanding our field presence. Our mission is simple: deliver safe, high-quality, and efficient service every time. As a Field Service Technician, you play a vital role in that mission-working directly with customers, servicing equipment on-site, and ensuring an exceptional service experience. You will report directly to the Service Manager.
What You Will Do
- Perform outside field service on industrial air compressor systems
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair air compressors, reciprocating and rotary screw compressors
- Diagnose and support air compressor electrical systems, including VSD (Variable Speed Drive) systems and controls
- Service air dryers (refrigerated & regenerative) with solid working knowledge of dryer operation
- Repair and maintain auto drains, flow controllers, vacuum pumps, and blowers
- Pressure wash and clean customer equipment pads including skids, coolers, concrete, and tanks
- Communicate clearly with customers and the Service Manager regarding work performed, repair needs, upgrades, and system recommendations
- Complete all required documentation including work orders, start-up forms, warranty submissions, oil sample forms, and parts return slips
- Assist with installation, piping, and commissioning of compressor systems
- Train and support other Service Technicians
- Promote and follow proper safety procedures and correct use of PPE
- Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call schedule
What You Need to Succeed
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check (work performed at military bases)
- 3+ years of field service technician experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with VSD drives and air compressor control systems
- Basic air dryer knowledge (refrigerated and desiccant)
- Experience with reciprocating and rotary screw compressors
- Ability to supply your own basic hand tools

- $5,000 Signing Bonus
- Hourly pay range: $32 – $38 per hour
