One of my leading customers in the Zurich area is currently looking for a Architect / Team Lead to join the business after 3 years of considerable growth.
This business is a consultancy, combining state-of-the-art data analytics and business acumen to allow customers to make the best decisions.
The company hires the very best talent in the market ranging from Data Scientists to Developers and from Economists to Machine Learning experts.
Working with international, established customers throught the EU, US and Asia, they are looking for an experienced candidate to join the business in Switzerland.
This person needs to have to ability to build concrete IT solutions in the cloud from scratch whilst leading a small team of engineers and scientists.
You would be working with technical and non-technical guys on data science and software topics with both colleagues and clients, helping to define the strategy and IT Architecture in general.
In order to be considered for this role, you need to have a strong level of experience in a number of areas.
Firstly, it is important you have a strong development background, ideally focusing on one or more of the following languages; Java, .Net, C++ and also strong experience in either R or Python for the Data Science side.
Exposure or experience of working in Cloud environments is important with the business working with Google, Azure and AWS (experience in 1 or more is needed).
Experience in Docker and Containerization is also a big plus; as is working in a data-driven environment.
German fluency is absolutely essential for this business as you will be customer facing.
