Role summary

To work with the sales business and central support to ensure Darwin are consistently attracting key skills and local talent to the business. To ensure that the hiring plans across our offices in Amsterdam, Zurich and Bavaria within the Darwin Group are delivered on time within budget and aligned with the strategy and vision of the Company.

To develop Darwin's internal employer brand through innovative projects: web-based, employer branding, headhunting strategy etc.

Recruitment Function

  • Provide an internal recruitment delivery function for all sales related roles.
  • Centrally manage all direct recruitment activity for all recruitment sales teams.
  • Manage the end to end recruitment process for sourced candidates.
  • Develop and run internal, best practice recruitment process management systems.
  • Create, develop and report on Darwin Talent Strategy.


  • Actively source candidates (active and passive) through networking, social media and online database searching to build a future talent pool.
  • Develop, deliver and manage creative attraction strategies, on where and how to advertise roles to attract quality candidates.
  • Create job adverts for darwinrecruitment.com, job boards, social media and specialist publications.
  • Actively gather names and target passive seeking experienced recruiters.
  • Attend Recruitment network events.


  • Screen applications against agreed criteria, qualify candidate motivations and provide best possible shortlists of candidates to internal Hiring Managers.
  • Support the selection process; carry out psychometric tests, personality questionnaires and conduct competency-based interviews.
  • Offer management and on-boarding, ensuring effective transition into the business.


  • Produce weekly / monthly reports on resourcing and recruitment activity.
  • Monitor and report all recruitment activity and spend.


· Work in collaboration with HR to provide accurate and up to date salary and benefits information; including benchmarking and competitor analysis

· Work in conjunction with the Marketing function to ensure the Darwin brand is promoted to its fullest potential in its local regions across Europe.

· Work in conjunction with the Business Leaders to ensure key skills and talent is sourced effectively in line with requirements, strategy and vision

Skills/Experience Required

· Proven experience of working successfully in a recruitment role within a recruitment company environment, managing all aspects of the recruitment cycle.

· Advanced interviewing skills as well as the ability to coach and train managers in CV screening and interview techniques.

· Knowledge of recruitment marketing including internet-based, social media, advertising and direct sourcing methods.

· Up to date knowledge of relevant recruitment related legislation.

· Strong judgment and analytical skills.

· Ability to handle difficult and challenging situations.

· Organised with strong interpersonal and time management skills.

· Self-motivated and able to work independently when required.

· Tenacious, assertive and able to professionally challenge and influence decisions.

· Strong English and ideally German language skills.


€45.000 + bonus
