Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for managing and developing Windows environments? Do you have experience with Citrix VDI and Active Directory, server roles, rights, Teams, and Exchange environments? If so, we have the perfect job for you! I am currently looking for a skilled System Engineer who is looking for a 100% remote role!
As a member of the team, you'll be responsible for the administration, engineering, and operation of their virtualization environment using vSphere 6.x. You'll also be involved in managing our hardware, suppliers, and contractors, as well as their licenses.
In addition to your technical skills, you'll have a keen eye for network topology, firewall rulesets, switches, and VPN setups, and be able to ensure the trouble-free and permanent operation of our IT infrastructure. You'll also keep a close eye on technology and security trends while providing second-level support and troubleshooting when needed.
As a great communicator, you'll be comfortable liaising with external parties, such as suppliers and customers, and be able to manage backup projects and other IT service functions with ease. You'll also have experience with backup systems and BCP tasks, including data center switchover.
In this role, you'll need to be organized and have excellent documentation skills. You'll also need to be available for on-call duty (Pikett) in turn with other team members.
