Home office position with flexibility of travel to one of the following client locations;
Berlin / Ingolstadt / Munich / Ulm
Focused in the DevOps area in the industries of Defence and Space, Mobility and Fintech my client is scaling their DevOps teams due to a growing demand from their current clientele and the growth of new interest within DevOps into a SDLC. In aid of development projects, automation, scalability, cloud and containerisation are among the top topics of focus for the next few months as well as migration projects in order to reduce work-load and cost.
Can you live, breath and consult with a DevOps methodology?
- At least 3 years of support management experience or similar management position.
- Expert knowledge of ITIL.
- Experienced in working with scrum in support teams.
- Familiarity in open-source tools and commercial DevOps tools.
Due to the project focus if you are passionate about DevOps, with a consultancy background and expertise in migration projects, open source tools and managing DevOps processes.
- Line management for support team of 15-20 with reviews etc.
- Personal coaching of team leads.
- Plan capacity and support the staff process.
- Engage with sales team on opportunities.
- Manage the training schedule for the team (technical and personal).

Senior DevOps Engineer - Mainz Background: This pharmaceutical business has been running for over 40 years, providing medicial machinery for blood testing equipment, white blood cell detection etc. Recently, we have been providing machines for Covid testing worldwide. The aim of the role is to take ownership of their current CI/CD pipeline using the existing template to gain a high-level overview on all parts of the business globally. They want to centralise their business, all working from the same platform, technologies and operating systems.
