Storage and VMware Engineer - NetApp, VMware, Veeam, Microsoft, Liechtenstein

One of our leading customers based in Liechtenstein is looking for a highly skilled System Engineer to join their IT Infrastructure team.
This international business is a specialist within healthcare industry with offices all over the world.

In this role, you would have the opportunity to design, plan and operate IT Infrastructure platform solutions with a focus on servers, storage, backup and virtualization.
You will support, develop and optimize the existing NetApp-storage, and server infrastructure as well as the existing VMware-based virtual infrastructure environment.
You would be responsible for the design and optimization of the global backup solution based on NetApp, Veeam and VMWare technologies.

Other tasks would include the planning, implementation and support complex IT projects in a global enterprise environment.

My customer is looking for someone who has in-depth knowledge of Storage technologies, preferably NetApp, as well as experience in designing backup solutions and data recovery processes.
You should have extensive experiences with VMWare, Veeam, server technologies, and hybrid-cloud IaaS setups.
Experiences with Microsoft Azure technologies is a plus but not essential.

This business is based in Liechtenstein; only a 1 hour train journey from Zurich but also surrounded by Swiss and Austrian mountains, this role offers a really unique location.
