Software Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the integration of embotech safe platform with the embotech software stack.
• Define software requirements, architecture, design documentation, implementation, and testing.
• Serve as the Technical Lead for the project.
• Establish software project planning, controlling, and management in a matrix organization, closely coordinating with project and line managers.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, cost, quality goals, and technical specifications.
• Manage the backlog for the assigned project using agile software development principles.
• Coordinate software development and testing throughout all project phases.
• Coordinate with external design and development partners.
• Conceive, design, develop, and verify real-time embedded and non-embedded software.
• Maintain the highest quality standards throughout the entire product life cycle.
• Coordinate development efforts with other team members.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering FH/Uni/ETH, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in software development using C and/or C++ (both used).
• Experience with automotive multicore MCUs (Infineon, STMicroelectronics, NVIDIA) using real-time operating systems (such as VxWorks, QNX, PXROS, or SafeRTOS).
• Familiarity with Linux and virtualization/container deployment.
• Experience in building software within a regulated automotive development process (IEC 26262 / ASPICE) or other safety-critical/regulated software development process is advantageous.
• Knowledge of network protocols (UDP, TCP/IP) and communication protocols (CAN) is a plus.
• Self-organized, solution-oriented, and communicative team player with initiative.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
