SLS – Pyrotechnic Engineer

We are supporting a space exploration leader with identifying a pyrotechnic engineer to join their team and to be based in Huntsville, Alalbama.

As a member of a dynamic and collaborative team you will be responsible for providing pyrotechnic engineering design support specifically for Space Launch systems (SLS) vehicles - which will include the booster, Core Stage and EUS Elements.

Responsibilities include but not limited to;
- Review of Engine change packages, dispensary reports and problem reports.
- Serving investigative teams, designs review and hardware acceptance reviews
- Traveling to suppliers to inspect proprietary documentation and parts
- Support requirements reviews, design reviews engineering change boards and failure investigations.
