Project Manager

Position goals:

  • Lead projects throughout the lifecycle of Solution Design in agreed quality, budget and timeline
  • Ensure smooth transition to operations
  • Manage project stakeholders
  • Ensure successful project team collaboration and positive project team morale

Main tasks/activities:

  • Define project charter
  • Perform the project planning
  • Lead Sponsor/ PSB meetings
  • Manage project scope and scope changes
  • Monitor and report overall project progress and performance to appropriate bodies
  • Ensure communication to all relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure adequate risk management is in place to address risks, issues and actions
  • Trigger related processes like People Change Mgmt or Testing, etc.
  • Ensure appropriate project documentation
  • Ensure project is closed (incl. lessons learned and benefits/business case realisation) after go-live
  • Ensure relevant governance is respected

Position requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration (or comparable
  • education/equivalent experience
  • +5 years of experience in successfully leading projects/solutions
  • Strong background in Project Management skills, incl. relevant certification (Waterfall and/or Agile)
  • Experience in Programme Management is a plus
  • Recognized leadership skills, specifically in the management of virtual teams or project groups; proven ability to
  • develop team members by inspiring, encouraging and providing constructive criticism to help improve
  • performance
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Team player with ability and confidence to build pro-active, co-operative and effective working relationships
  • customers, peers and key stakeholders (incl. senior management)
  • Conflict management skills
