An intelligent software company and consultancy based in Oslo has expressed their need for innovative Java developers to be an integral part in their new Java development team.
The business has been going strong for over 30 years and provides solutions to huge banking and insurance corporations across Scandinavia and the UK. Through their incredible focus on their customer's needs, they have seen tremendous growth after the last few years and now is a fantastic time to join. The office is incredibly social with numerous events going on throughout the year. Sharing your knowledge with others is hugely encouraged as it only boosts the skills of your fellow developers. The business has also developed incredible products, so when you're not out on projects you will be involved in-house to keep you occupied.
They have listened to their customer's desires and have noticed the strong requirement for Java developers in order to provide the most efficient and effective solutions. They don't currently have a Java team, they're looking to build one. Which means that you would be in a fresh new team, and you will have the opportunity to watch it grow and have a say in the future. As a result of this, they would need a range of candidates, from Senior level candidates to candidates with 3 or more years in a similar role.
What will you need?
Ideally, they require Java developers that have a good understanding of either Java or Kotlin with strong experience using Microservices. You'll need to be fluent in Norwegian. It'd be an advantage if you come from a banking & insurance background but don't rule yourself out if you don't have experience in that industry, they'd still be interested in hearing from you! Scrum certification would also be an advantage.
If you're interested, feel free to apply!
