Darwin Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Java Application Engineer for our innovative and renowned client in the financial environment in Zurich.
General Conditions
- Start: Asap, latest August 2023
- Duration: 12 months, extension possible
- Hybrid work model
- Location: Zurich
- Contract type: freelancer or temporary
Your Responsibilities
- Development data integration- and business services using micro-service and Azure Datafactory pipelines
- Ensure applications are performing and tested against requirements
- Ensure compliance with CI/CD and automated testing for building pipeline
- Development of simple user interfaces using Angular
- Prepare unit test for automated testing
- Performing code reviews and fixing bugs and issues in the applications
- Understand architectural issues, and factor them into decisions and recommendations
Your Expertise
- Strong and experienced JAVA developer with minimum 6 years of experiences
- Strong knowledge of micro-services implemented with Spring Boot
- Profound experience with relational databases. (Postgres is a plus)
- Experience with messaging and stream processing architectures built on Kafka
- Test driven development: proven expertise in writing unit tests and end to end integration
